Federation of Small Business

29th April 2016

Anne and councillors Beric Read and Alun Davies met with local small businesses to discuss the challenges that are they face in St Albans.

Anne said, ‘I was delighted to attend what was a very helpful meeting of local businesses and the council.

‘Small businesses are the lifeblood of the economy, and help give city centre its charm.

‘We had a very constructive discussion, and I’m taking forward some of the concerns raised.  I believe that there needs to be more help for small businesses, and business rates need to be a priority.  It’s important the government continues to make progress in this area.’
