The Koh-I-Noor restaurant in St Albans was Highly Commended in the prestigious Tiffin Cup organised in Parliament. Now in its seventh year, the competition celebrates the best in South Asian cuisine.
The George Street restaurant received a certificate and embroidered Tiffin Cup 2014 chef jacket to mark their achievement in this year’s competition.
Anne said she was ‘delighted the Koh-I-Noor received this recognition’ and that this was a ‘testament to the management and staff for all their hard work and effort.’
Keith Vaz MP, the co-chair of the Tiffin Cup said:
‘We are pleased that the Koh-I-Noor has been Highly Commended in the Tiffin Cup 2014. This is a great tribute not just to the nomination of local MP Anne Main but also to the constituency of St Albans as a whole.’
