16th March 2016

St Albans MP Anne Main has urged constituents interested in making their views known on the future of the Abbey Line, running from St Albans to Watford.

Anne said, ‘it’s important for constituents who wish to see improvement on the line to respond to the consultation.

The Abbey Flyer Users’ Group (Abfly) has published full details on their campaign page, through which interested parties can respond to the consultation - abfly.org.uk/sendtheflyerhigher/

‘Abfly has done a magnificent job in promoting a better service on the Abbey Line,’ said Mrs Main, ‘and have provided a handy and easy way to respond to the consultation on their website.’

The department for transport has published its consultation which can be found on the government website - https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/west-midlands-rail-franchise.
